[Ryo's voice floats from just outside the bedroom door.] Last chance.
[That's Momo's only warning before he's turning the door handle with an elbow and coming in, phone in one hand and an opened bag of ~wavy~ mango salsa chips in the other.]
[To be fair, it's kind of his fault (it's 100% his fault) that dealing with Momo has become something akin to coaxing out a cautious animal.
That little whine doesn't go unnoticed. Ryousuke's smile widens ever so slightly, reminiscent of someone who's got their prey right where they want them.]
Mmm. They're good...
[The potato chips are still held out, should Momo be brave enough to reach for them.]
[Close. Close enough to reach for one delectable chip, but also in range for Ryousuke's arm to come swinging down for a swift karate chop. It doesn't make contact -- instead hovering right above Momo's head.]
But first- give me one good reason why I shouldn't tell Makoto where you are right now.
[HE INHALES, AUDIBLY -- that high-pitched gasp every mother's familiar with. When their youngest son knocks over the last gallon of milk just before a snowstorm, or walking into a room with newly-crayola'd walls. It's so unfitting for Momo, but it happens, and he ends up choking on his saliva.]
[ok but which should you fear more: Makorin, or him?]
Kuramochi ran away without telling anybody too. [because of you, ryo...] You should be more concerned about the consequences over whatever secret Makoto might have.
[Both options are full of cons and everybody loses.]
Huh! Mochi-senpai did? How come?
[Makoto not being scary might be half the reason why whatever consequences he may have to contend with aren't as daunting as they could be. Like, sure, Rin might be pissed, but Makoto will surely level things out.
And what!! A weird thing to be angry at HIM about....all of Momo's weird secrets are out in the open, fortunately.]
It's a lot easier to scare Makoto-senpai than it is to be scared of him. It's not like that! Tell me more about Mochichi-senpai instead.
[Momo really is reluctant to talk about it, huh. But he seems to have quickly taken up an interest in Mochichi-senpai. Kuramochi is technically a third year now, with a greater sense of responsibility, and Ryousuke's been watching his kohai look after kohai of his own, whether it be Sawamura, or Ryousuke's brother, or now - Momo.]
Kuramochi? [He moves across the room to sit on his little brother's empty bed. Story time with Ryo.]
He's someone who pays careful attention to those around him... but he's still too naive. When it comes to baseball, he's greedy, and overcomplicates things to the point where his batting suffers. He can't hold his alcohol. His cooking ability is unparalleled. Recently, he set the kitchen on fire trying to make fried rice.
He's one year my junior, but we're partners. [Which says a lot more about Kuramochi. Despite first impressions, he's become someone that can work so seamlessly with Ryousuke, a team that he can be proud of.] He's a guy who you can rely on to have your back.
As for why he ran off... hmm.
[Ryousuke appears to consider his answer for a brief moment.]

just covering all bases.
[Ryo's voice floats from just outside the bedroom door.] Last chance.

Re: text > action
Momo observes from clear across the room, clutching the phone with both hands, squinting at the potato chip bag once it comes into view.]
HUH! You were being serious?!
Re: text > action
And then he's going to slowly reach into the bag, take a chip, and - crunch - eats it. With purpose.]
Are you calling me a liar?
Re: text > action
No...but...
Re: text > action
[To Yamazaki's house.]
Re: text > action
That's a shame. I thought you wanted these. [rustling the bag of potato chips. here, kitty kitty.]
Re: text > action
He swallows, looks from side to side, then inches his way over to Ryo...verrry slowly. Like he's trying to approach a pigeon for petting purposes.]
Only a little bit...

Re: text > action
[He's close enough...tentatively reaching to shove his hand into the bag........]
Re: text > action

Re: text > action
Re: text > action
[He's squatting at a halfsies angle -- like he's going to squat but froze halfway.]
Re: text > action
Re: text > action
That's not a reason.
Re: text > action
Do you really wanna know?!
Re: text > action
[That trainwreck of a network post still leaves a lot of his questions unanswered.]
[cheerfully:] I'm not hiding a fugitive.
Re: text > action
I'm n--EGH! I'M A FUGITIVE?!
[That's kinda cool..]
Mochi-senpai already said I couldn't stay that long.
Re: text > action
Aren't you?
[did you steal ladies underwear momo..]
Why else would you be running from home?
Re: text > action
Hmmm, it's because Makoto-senpai and Rin-senpai were keeping a weird secret. It's really scary, so I don't wanna talk about it...
Re: text > action

[a quirk of a smile]
He's not a scary guy at all.

I suppose because he kissed me.
