[Because Momo needs more stuff like he needs another a hole in his head, Sousuke goes a less traditional route for the littlest Samezuka for Christmas. Instead, Momo gets a card with a handful of slips of paper inside: offers for playdates between Momo and Nike, Momo's puppy and Nike, and Momo and Sousuke, though that'll be disguised as offers for training sessions.

[ On Christmas morning, Momo will find a luridly wrapped package on his doorstep. It's addressed to 'covered in bees' and contains the following items: [2] two free tickets to the zoo, [1] one industrial strength cat scratching post, and [1] one giant box of homemade Christmas treats, including brownies, cookies, gingerbread men, and cupcakes with little Christmas trees on them. There's no card except for a little note that says 'Merry Christmas,' but the manner of address should be a clue. ]

[momo's christmas gifts will be one big box. at the very top, a visor beanie (keep warm my son.....), and underneath a bunch of board games, some are even secondhand.]

[as makoto leans over the edge of the now-drained pool, snow is accidentally kicked down into it. he feels like an old man standing at the edge of a cliff, staring out into the ocean below--these are the kind of dramatic thoughts he's been having since he got his arm broken.]
[they had all woken up to fresh snow, a few good feet of them. though his arm didn't hurt so much at all anymore, it was a nuisance to go about doing chores and errands since it was impossible to drive the car or ride his bike with just one available arm. at this, and at a lack of anything better to do, makoto's decided to take the day off from work (it's hardly fun, without prez around).]

[Rather than picking up the spill, he snatches the dog up and makes his way over to the door, supposing it's a delivery or someone trying to sell bibles, not that the latter's very prominent here? He swings the door open after crushing Yogi safely between a forearm and his chest.]
